Skip Hop was founded in 2003 by Ellen and Michael Diamant, two new parents residing in New York City. Ellen, a former design executive in the fashion and publishing industries, and Michael, an internet entrepreneur, sought to create a line of products suitable for urban parents. In the same year, they created the world's first diaper bag that converted into a stroller bag. The Diamants continued to expand their collection to include a wide range of diaper bags and baby accessories.
Since its birth, Skip Hop has continued to create diaper bags and accessories that accommodate an urban lifestyle and mindset. The socially conscious company also donates a portion of its profits to the Pediatric AIDS Foundation and the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund

This was the first diaper bag we purchased because my husband and I wanted something unisex. This has just enough space to fit all the necessities but the plus are all the little compartments. Netted holders both inside and out plus side zip for quick access. I have a bumbleride flyer stroller and the backpack fits perfectly underneath or hangs conveniently from the push bar using the small clips on the backpack straps. I recommend this as a bag for couples that both husband and wife will be comfortable in toting around.

* Pockets in changing station compartment perfect for organizing & accessing all your changing needs (holds LOTS of diapers ~6).
* Stroller clips built into straps rock!
* LOVE the side zipper to access the main compartment (easy to access formula/cereal/puffs)
* Main compartment has lots of space without being too bulky
* Front compartment is perfect for things you need to access quickly like tissues / keys / hand sanitizer, etc.
* Been using it for months with no construction problems others mentioned.
* Does sit higher on your back then others...could be made to sit more comfortably, but would not hold me back from recommending.
* This is my 4th diaper bag and I've finally found the perfect one (esp with 2 kids). Had Dad Gear diaper bag which was WAY to bulky for daily use & pockets not as well organized.

This Backpack is much better than a regular one strap diaper bag. I did have a one strapped bag but it was very awkward when travelling in/out car, it kept slipping off my shoulder when also holding baby. You can easily wear this bag and hold the baby at the same time. This doubles as my purse too, lots of pockets. This bag is so practical. Buy it, you won't regret it!
